Zone Dependent Data

Zone dependent data are displayed by clicking on the Time-Resolved Spectra button on the main window when one or more time steps are selected. The plots show the fractional contribution of each plasma zone to the intensity at the detector for a specified photon energy. The photon energies are those specified for the Additional Graphics Photon Energy in SPECT3D. For a 1D plasma, the data displays as a line plot. For a 2D plasma, a contour plot is shown.

Initially, the plot for the spatially integrated detector is shown for the time(s) selected. Plots are shown for other additional photon energies, if available, by selecting the energy in the Photon energy combo box and clicking on the Update plot button.

To view the spectra for other time steps, select the required times in the Times list box and click on the Update plot button.

The combo box in the Plot options panel will have options for the spatially resolved spectra, if they are available. If a spatially resolved plot is selected, a list of detector pixel positions is shown in the Position - Horizontal (Vertical) box. Select one (or more for a 1D plasma) position and click on the Update plot button.

The size of the plot in the window can be changed by dragging on the vertical splitter bar to the left of the plot or on the horizontal splitter bar below the plot.
